Hypersonic

Just go to any tyre pump at petrol station. Press the flat tyre button and you will have compressed air for a while to blow off leaves, etc. Repeat the cycle again for more compressed air.

But be considerate and do it when there's nobody.

To get compressed air  , just connect a click-on air chuck  with a length of air hose to  yr spare tyre and you will have continuous supply until the air runs out.

I have 1 of those wet/dry vacuum cleaner, shaped like a mini pail, connect the flexible hose to the suction hole of the "pail" to use as vacuum cleaner, connect the flexible hose to the exhaust hole to use as blower, adaptor is supplied for inflating balls, etc...

Powered by car cigarette lighter socket. Can't remember where I bought this, either Autobacs or Mustafa Centre. Less than SGD 20.

Looks good! Where did u buy this and for how much?

I will PM you the vendor.

I would say it is a tad bit expensive because you need to build a system as besides the cordless blower, you will need to add a battery and the quick charger.  The quick charger can charge the 18V 3.0A battery in about 35 mins.  The runtime I guess is about 20 mins?

The approximate pricing is

Cordless Blower $91

18V 3.0A Battery $125

Quick Charger $94

I would say this equipment is quite versatile.

Do note that while it is powerful but don't expect it to be super duper power as it is battery driven after all.

Here are some of my applications.

a)  blast the trapped leaves (and other debris ) at the boot and engine on my colleague's car

b)  after washing the car,  blast "most" water off the car panels.  More effective on vertical panels like doors.

c)  after washing the car,  blast the trapped water from the crevices and joints e.g. door handles, side mirrors, etc

d)  blast dirt from box fan

e)  blast dust from desktop PC e.g mobo, inside PSU,  heatsink etc.

f)   "chase" water off the toilet floor

I have since added the vacuum as it uses the same battery.  Not very powerful but does the job.

How long can the battery lasts?

My guess is about 20 mins.

I would say it depends on how the cordless blower is used as there are 3 speed settings.

Let's say if help to dry a car,  a single 18v 3.0a would be just nice.

For a more thorough job,  another is needed.

Just for indication for a car

a)  roof

b)  bonnet

c)  trunk & drainage

d) windows

e) side mirrors

f) side and door panels

g) front top and bottom grille

h) fog lamps

i)  behind license plate

j)  emblems

k) door handles

l)  lower body side skirting

m) inner door wells

n) door jams

etc, etc

Wash car need to wax.  Blow leaves no need.

Thanks for the PM! Ex though. Do you think its sufficiently strong enough for your use? (Not so much of sustained use but maybe like for smaller jobs not full car wash kind). I wanna use it primarily to blow away water also cos I did PPS and got hydrophobic properties. Hopefully water comes off easier.

That said I'm considering the Borsch one. Found some on Qoo10 and costs about $250 for the full set including 2 4AH batteries (after discounts and coupons)
