Against a backdrop of dramatically changing times, Art Stage Singapore sets its course in this new direction with in-depth content offerings through the South East Asian Forum exhibition and lecture series, the Collectors' Stage exhibition and the fair.
Art Stage Singapore, South East Asia's flagship art fair, opens its seventh edition from 12th to 15th January at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre. It will present a diverse range of carefully selected galleries from across Asia and the world featuring 131 exhibitors from 27 countries and 54 cities. Three quarters of the exhibitors are returning galleries, the remaining quarter are new.

75 percent of the participating galleries hail from Asia Pacific and one third of the total number of galleries are South East Asia. This according to its organisers, makes Art Stage Singapore the definitive Asian art fair.

This arts platform plays a key role in the eco-system of contemporary art in Singapore and South East Asia, not only in developing and bridging individual regional art markets, but also in creating a forum for the exchange of ideas that are critical to understanding the economic and socio-political issues of the day.

After a successful sitting in 2016, the South East Asia Forum returns again this year, and is titled 'Net Present Value: Art, Capital Futures'. It will focus on the theme of capitalism. The Forum is a thematic programme, comprising an exhibition and a series of lectures that offer more focused and deeper views into global issues that have direct impact on South East Asia.

A one-day pass (standard ticket) costs $32, while a four-day pass (standard ticket) will set you back $64.
