Hi, Any advice or amplifier selection to match a speaker at 180W / 60RMS / 4Ohm? Looking at 4 Channel amp.......... Thanks, 4-ohm impedance coil drivers should be quite easily driven by any average, branded amp. The 2-ohm electrostatics and ribbon speakers are the most paranoid in terms of power amp output matching. -------------------- aka Jolie888 |

You wan to run active upfront for the 4channel or bridge the rear for sub? U just need a 60w rms x 4(4ohm) to power ur speakers. Do not look just at the max power as the important is the rms. Do not have to worry that the amp lacks power if u max exactly so long as u get reputable brands as most should be under rated Just my 2cts |
