Hi,

Any advice or amplifier selection to match a speaker at 180W / 60RMS / 4Ohm? Looking at 4 Channel amp..........

Thanks,

4-ohm impedance coil drivers should be quite easily driven by any average, branded amp.
The 2-ohm electrostatics and ribbon speakers are the most paranoid in terms of power amp output matching.

Care to elaborate? Sorry i newbie in ICE.....What Amp Watts / RMS should i b looking at?

Narrow down to Pioneer GM-5500T 820Watts or Oris ( Forgot the model ) 3200 Watts

Y do u need such powerful amps for ur 60w rms speakers?
What amp u want get depends on ur setup?
You wan to run active upfront for the 4channel or bridge the rear for sub?

U just need a 60w rms x 4(4ohm) to power ur speakers.
Do not look just at the max power as the important is the rms.
Do not have to worry that the amp lacks power if u max exactly so long as u get reputable brands as most should be under rated
Just my 2cts
