For those who happened to own a lemon like what I have for a French car, please share the problem you have encountered .

At the end of the day, I laugh at my own stupidity of owning a lemon car .

I know VW sells plenty of lemon cars.
Just go to vagsg.com.
Many gave up on VCS, after unresolvable episodes on failing mechatronics and unreliable DSG.

My 1st ride was a 16 yr old corolla. Obviously not very properly maintained n an accident veh. No matter wat alignment oso can't drive straight. Drive shaft also clock clock. Engine oil oso eat. Starter oso cant start. Aircon oso must chg compressor. Boot oso rusted. Suspension bad til ecp b4 tg katong drive 70 feel so much body roll. ONI engine quiet.

It's almost a 100% failure rate for the 7-dry DSG.

86. Jasson00, MK5 Jetta sport 1.4tsi, initially went for software upgrades and juddering issue on 7 and 9 march, encounter flashing D on 29 March. MU to be replaced on 30 March. Mileage: 44k
88. 5158,jetta 1.4tsi,80k mu replaced first time in Nov 2010, went for software upgrade on 19 April 9m, but 6pm car cannot move, cannot engage gear to move. No car still in VCS
89. mistersoh, Touran Sport 1.4TSI Collected July 2010, 55k (gearbox locked up and unable to engage, diagnosed as MU failure, need to be replaced, sent in 23 April, collection expected 25 April (unless they break another promise again)
90. Gregbtan, Scirocco 1.4TSI, MU replaced at 18k and was told that was the cause of the juddering. Juddering was reduced but still apparent. Had to insist on 5 year warranty extension which was finally given. Juddering became very severe all of a sudden and it got so bad to the point where the car couldn't pass gear3 and had to be town away. VCS said it was wiring problem, which I would not accept. Then SA just said "ok fine change clutch". Sent in for clutch change today at 26k. Earliest I can collect the car is this Friday. 4 days for a clutch replacement.
91. cplim, Passat cc 1.8TSI, 40k. Sent the car to VCS last week for juddering problem and clutch adaptation was done. Yesterday, engine light came on with flashing D. Car towed back to VCS. MU changed. Was hoping juddering will go away but started to judder again at D2 next day after collection.

95. jet-sju, Jetta non sport 1.4, 30k - MU changed (so called affected batch) and Clutch changed due to juddering. 75k - MU changed (car cannot start), changing clutch soon due to juddering
96. chlee98, Scirocco 1.4, 45k - MU changed. Still got to go for clutch adaptation in Jun for juddering.
97. chunt1, MK5 Jetta 1.4 Sport, 42K, MU replaced, done clutch adaptation in Jan 12, DSG Software Upgrade in March 12 and MU failure in May 12. when collecting car, asked what is to be done for the judder and was told this is a new 2012 MU, request me to monitor if judder still persist ........

Not sure also...some even said they are assembled in PRC. Dunno whether it's true or not....one thing I know for sure...when I used to stationed in Dalian and ShenYang (North East China) .....everywhere is VW.

Those sold in china are assemble in china, just like malaysia honda civic assemble in malaysia, but ultimately it's still vw problem, assemble in Germany also so many problem.

So how lemon is consider lemon? Car breakdown within 1 week you have collected your car? Or parts replacement starts to surface after 3 years?
