the price difference between 523 n 530 is abt 20k thereabouts . 523 is damn underpowered la. FC abt 7-8km. I know cos I owned one. sold it after 3 mths. |

Same as theres more 523 than 525. If 523 underpower than 520 even worse, but still many 520 ard and none complain. IMo would go for either as they will be the last of Beemer NA IL6

That in that case you must drive from every point A to point B in that speed too if that is your expectation. Short short or long long distance everytime must "ji the yiu". Hahaha......Cannot imagine you live in that kind of environment. -------------------- |

then 535 better lah... liddat no ending comparison Sorry my friend. If u r talking about E60, there is no 535. Being a former owner of E39 520, this is an honest opinion, which u can ignore. More torque/hp is better than less especially when u need to ferry full load of ppl all the time. |

I always admired the 5, the badge say alot about the car and owner/s owning it, let alone drive this beauty or beast as some call it.
You can have my utmost support for buying one, ( I almost did ), 5 mths back, when was informed by a direct owner while sitting in tis beemer, he mentioned on the reverse-gear not to open driver door to anticipate the distance, ultimately it may cause the gear mechanism to ' jump ', damage is ard 4-5K. I appreciate his comments but pull the brake on purchasing it altogether, it was a 520, notwithstanding on 523 or 530 power ratio, specification diff, fc horse power, maintenance & general upkeep etc, Towards the end of the day, I chose a Merc. A german pedigree too but less sorry than ever, a bit " Uncle car " but lighter on the pocket. -------------------- Disclaimer: Some content may not be accepted by all as we are not trained counseller / adviser, we seek your tolerant. My advice is based on experiences / exposure/s committed to give an honest & direct answer, no profanity & accusation to be taken of any kind, in an event that it misfired, it should be taken as a pinch of salt. Thank you ! |

U will not like it unless u like driving on turn & twisty Back road. I have done countless time on Msia back road. U will get adrenaline rush from overtaking 2 vehicles at 1 go. The more i talk, the more i feel like going out for a spin now. |

Appreciate your feedback, yes I have owned the 318i but that was passe era, at my aged and future, time to sit back and cruise mode. -------------------- Disclaimer: Some content may not be accepted by all as we are not trained counseller / adviser, we seek your tolerant. Itchy hand, just got a 2nd hand 07 525 today. So u trade in your previous car or is this your 2nd or 3rd ? Your 07 hopefully is a LCI model. Many E60 in the market coz many have upgraded. I'm going to drive my E60 till scrap another 2 yrs+ to go This post has been edited by Amazon777: Aug 18 2012, 09:26 PM |
