Upon watching this video, seems to me the actual cause of the person's death was the neck snapped upon the kart hitting the barriers rather than the flip over. This was what i heard happened to her anyway. Watch the entire video. See how the neck snaps at high speed. Yes, the go kart is much slower but an F1 driver has very strong neck muscles so they pretty much survive a typical crash at 100+kph.
