Bsbs Neutral Newbie September 16, 2007 Share September 16, 2007 Way back when Ron98 petrol was hovering around the S$1/litre region, companies here would pay car allowance between $500-800 pm. Out of curiosity, given the increase in petrol price, how much are companies paying nowadays? My friend is getting $1600 pm ↡ Advertisement

Snookium 1st Gear September 16, 2007 Share September 16, 2007 My is the best.. I am in support or service team so need to travel. I am from surveillances industries btw. My company offered me $200 dollars of transport regardless car / motor / or non-driver. Last time which is 2 years back they used to pay me 0.40cts/KM and it is based on taxi mileage 250m per ten cents excluding the $2.40.. Now my company not making $$ asking me to do sales too and transport still the same. Well thinking of leaving and all the BEST to the next guy who join my company.

It was $800 7 years ago (quite a lot then), it IS STILL $800 now That's why I fed up...take MRT even if I travel to customer's place. Let my wife drive the car.
