Three-car collision between a Lotus Elise, Nissan and a Mercedes cab

STOMPer JT sent these photos of the scene of an accident involving three cars at the junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan Road at about 4am today (14 Oct).

 

"Three-car collision between a Lotus Elise, Nissan and a Mercedes cab at the junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan road occurred about 4am on 14th Oct 2007," the STOMPer said in an email today.

 

"There were bad injuries but no casualties during the time when the ambulance arrived," JT said.

 

STOMP contacted the Police, which said it received a call at about 3.50am about an accident involving three cars at the junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan Road.

 

"Two passengers were sent to the National University Hospital. Both were conscious," a spokesman said.

I guess the cefiro mounted the kerb badly and caused its wheel to bent. but can see the cabin looks intact for all the three cars. this is more important

either the merc or the lotus at fault. More like a case of drink driving + speeding.

what a pity for an Elise.

considering the size of an Elise,the damage is still able to save the life of the driver.

must be the cab's fault

 

3 cars must be speeding.

Elise must have lead the way during a traffic launched and the Mercedes driver thinks his cab got turbo sure can win a puny size Elise,while the "P" plate driver was thinking his cefiro sure can makan the diesel-fed turbo mercedes.

luckily the elise never turtle. If not, the driver would have been fatal from head injuries.

Cabin may be intact. But if you see carefully, only the Merc Air Bags deployed.

 

Nissan and Elise airbags didn't deploy at all. Drivers and passengers could still be seriously hurt if they have head concussion....

 

Considering the damage to the Elise & Cefiro.... no excuse for Airbag to fail... sigh...
