Call the SE, was told that it is phasing out model,hence having promotion.

Not a matter of worth. Is more of do I need a picnic ?

It's good for transport mass number of adults around -- that is the main factor of getting it.

I see many neighbours get the Wish, Stream, Picnic, Estima, Previa, Grandis etc and ended up only 1-3 persons in it -- so like buy to show-off ?

 

In 2006 Wish was ard $60+K when considering change but at end go for a $70K saloon since most of the time only me and my wify in it.

My previous ride is an picnic, now driving an wish for 1 1/2 years..

In term of comfort and ride, picnic has no issue.

However, i am getting 7 ~8 km/l on my hippo, which is the main reason for my switch.

Why buy an Ah Pek looking MPV when there are newer models at lower or comparable prices?

Picnic - 2.0L 147bhp moving a 2.1 tonne body..4 speed auto

 

Stream - 1.8L 140bhp moving a 1.4 tonne body..5 speed auto

 

I'll go for the Stream anytime..cheaper somemore..

Picnic at $85K is not worth to buy as it is an old model and it doesn't have much bells and whistles as compared to other models. The only advantage it has over its competitors is the rear aircons for the 3rd row. I can't think of any models of MPVs from ADs that have rear aircons. Unless U dun mind the Suzuki APV.

Stream and Picnic aren't in the same class. Picnic seats 7 in comfort, Stream seats 5 in comfort, the 2 at the back will sweat and get cramps in their legs!

 

But if you only carry 3 or 4 people, then definitely, the Stream or Wish.
