Hi Saab owner,

I'm considering a used 2 yrs old Saab and wondering what are the usual repair for saab of this age?

Heard that it's an unreliable car but somehow is captivated by Saab for unknown reason so hope any Saab owner here can enlighten me.

You're looking @ the new facelift 95 MY 2006?

 

The newer facelift had many improvement make in the handling, interior and etc

 

As for unreliable, I doesn't agree having owning a couple of various marques I found no different from Germany, Japan nor Sweden

 

You can go and register in Saabstance where the Saabers hang out

I just changed my air con compressor, plus the idle pulley and belting and also a smallish plastic part near the top of the engine inclusive labour for S$1800 at Trans Eurokar, the agent. My car 4.5 years and 85K in mileage la.

i heard from a ict mate that saabs have very poor in resale value in sg even though they are good cars.

for a preown one, u should probably able to negotiate for a good deal cos the first owner kenna slaughtered by the dealer big time

if i don't remember wrongly, the first owner should have lost at least 30k.

one way is to pose as a seller, call up a few dealers and check out the price he's willing to take your car.. and gauge from there.

else u can goto the saab forum and find out from the folks there
