Marketplace Posting Policy


Use of sgCarStore
This sgCarStore is strictly for posting items that users want to SELL, within the territory of Singapore and Malaysia. All ads of other forms will be deleted without explanation or warning. Only registered users of myCarForum are allowed to post ads in sgCarStore. Registered users are allowed to have 10 ad postings with a maximum of 4 ad postings per category.


Postings of Ads

Ads Postings
Ads should be posted at appropriate categories. Ads posted at in appropriate categories will be removed without any explanation or notification. Repeated users will be banned from posting of new ads.
Title should only contain name of item
No posting of “items wanted” or “WTB” advertisement
No posting of multiple items in one advertisement
Listing a selling price is compulsory
No posting of deceptive prices
Do not CAP, bold or colour the entire text

Accurate and Complete Information
Sellers need to include complete and accurate information of the products that they are posting. Ads with incomplete or incorrect information will be removed.
All sellers are required to provide a valid contact number and an email address. Postings with invalid contact information will be removed.

Spamming / Multiple Postings
Please do not double /multiple post. Users who are found spamming of ads or posting multiple ads with identical contents will be banned at the discretion of the administrators from myCarForum. All other affected ads will also be removed.

Automotive-Related Merchants
All forms of postings representing shops and/or business entities and/or commercial in the classified will be removed unless you are a registered merchant. Users are not allowed to insert Business / Company name, url or any other information in the ads. If you wish to post any ad for commercial purposes, please contact our administrators using the form here : http://www.sgcarmart.com/directory/advertise.php

Ads That Are Not Allowed
Users are not allowed to advertise illegal products or services. This also includes anything that is against the public interest, public morality, public order, public security, or national harmony, or that is otherwise prohibited by Singapore laws.
Where postings contravene Singapore’s laws, the administrators of myCarForum will cooperate fully with the authorities in the event of any investigation and/or prosecution. The administrators will provide the authorities with any information that users have provided or which the administrators have collected. This includes IP addresses, user id, name, contact number and email address.

Copyrighted Material
No material that is copyrighted and/or you do not have the right of use is allowed for ads posting. myCarForum will not be liable for any legal actions undertaken by the copyright holders.

Posting of Pirated or Counterfeit Items
No pirated or counterfeit items are allowed to be posted. myCarForum will not be liable for any legal actions and will report the users to the relevant authorities.

Format of Ads
Users are not allowed to use block letters, other than necessary, when posting ads. This restriction is applicable to the ad titles, ad summary and ad descriptions. The ad titles and ad summary should only list the items for sale and not to be of other form of content.

Cars for Sale Ads
All forms of “cars for sale” ad postings or of similar content are not allowed. Ads with the mentioned content will be removed. If you wish to post any ad for cars available for sale, please post it as our partner site, sgCarMart.

Vehicle License Number Ads
Users are not allow to post Vehicle License Number for sale ads. Ads with the mentioned content will be removed.

Duration of Ad Postings
Every ad posting will be published at sgCarStore for a period of 60 days. Upon the end of the mentioned duration, Users are allowed to extend the ad posting by acknowledging an email notification sent to the users via email.
