Vios and Altis Options

vios bhp/ton is higher than altis. as friendstar would say, get an axio.

no point getting the current vios... the outlook sux and it's much heavier dan '04 and '06 vios which only means tat u suffer in FC cos engine and everyting same but weight not same... ok, simple get an altis... it's 10k more exp dan vios but it's not bcos of the legroom, axio is cool on the outlook but hav u tot of the safety features? i believe axio doesnt come wif 4 disc brakes, the rear is drum brake... altis comes wif 4 disc brakes which is better and 2 airbags in front... tink of all these oso bro, esp u got so many noobs on the road now or maybe old bird noobs...

Many of the additional features available in altis (e.g. audio controls on steering, knockdown back seats, 4 disc brake) also available in vios but G model only.

defferent category lah,
Altis belongs to mid-size sedan such as avante, forte, civic, lancer, mz3...etc
vios belongs to compact sedan such as city, latio, axio..etc

unfortuntely axio from PI only, otherwise vios can't survive in Singapore

Just feel tat pple hu buys toyota simply becox of the brand.
they would say reliable la. gd value la.
CUmmon la so conservative. saying the rest of the brands not reliable n not value 4 money.
on top of that ur paying 4 MIT!!.

just got a feeling sum pple buy becox oh my neighbour owns 1 also so it must be gd.

As known to all, nowadays a successful enterprise will manage/sell the brand at last, not the product. Successful enterprises build up their fame and credit in consumers through their brand, and enlarge the impact from the product on their psychology.

looks are subjective. Juz go test drive and see which one u like. Axio unfortunately is under PI which rarely allows test driving.

that's why singaporeans are an easy target to sell to. they are like kiasu sheep in the herd, just be the shepard and you can sell them anything. why do you think the top rich men in singapore are mostly property developers who sell dreams, lifestyle, and desire. these things appeal to sheeple.

There's also the Allion. Can't tell them aprt though, Axio & Allion that is. But the Vios is like entry level whilst the Altis is like one step up from that, so better legroom, more options, functions, airbags etc...

At Present, I think buy Korea design car like Hyundai, Kia and Chevrolet make a lot more sense.

Some say toyota FC low .....not really true..... unless you drive like a taxi, the premium you pay can buy a lot more fuel.....:).

Altis fuel consumption low meh.........I doubt.

their argument is the more same type of cars on the road, the better, because cheaper spare parts etc. that's why some Toyota fool always cheer when this month Toyota outsell Honda to take #1 spot and next month Honda fool will cheer when Honda outsell Toyota as #1 seller. singaporean really bo sai pang, this kind of thing also make them happy

Good point! When I was driving a Vios, every tom dick & harry also had one so I had to go outta my way to make mine look unique. Then you realise that some other joker has the same bodykit as you and the story NEVER ends! At some point got sick of it all and went for a car that is as unique as one could hope for in Singapore. Have never looked back since.

But I think the most unique car in Singapore must be the DeLorean DMC-12 aka Back to the Future Car. There is only ONE such car in Singapore, saw it once at Dempsey area...what a beauty
