The new Volkswagen Polo is here and to commemorate its launch on the 20th of November, Volkswagen wants to find out exactly what you do in your day!

Submit your non-stop activity schedule and stand a chance to win a pair of tickets to the hottest party of the year, Zoukout! Interesting activities listed on the submitted schedules may also be picked out by Singapore’s very own celebrity blogger Mr Brown who will be embarking on his Non-stop Weekend for a period of 30 hours starting Saturday, 20th November 10am to Sunday 21st November 4pm.

On route to successfully completing the rally, Mr Brown will be stopping at checkpoints around Singapore to give out Volkswagen Polo goodie bags, play games and even take pictures. And to make things more interesting, Volkswagen wants to know exactly how you would plan such a rally by stating the types of activity you would engage in each hour at one location over the weekend!

The Polo is always on the move non-stop. Can you keep up?

I think the 1.2 TSI is under 10s for 0-100. Not sure about the 1.4 NA.

According to this other local car site (1 shift), we won't see the 1.2 TSI in Singapore. Can do a search there.

We'll be getting the 1.4 NA version. All will be revealed this weekend at the launch. Will be a good car for the missus.

Guess it will be another overpriced car where AD is trying to pitch it as "premium" ride.

If VCS wants to sell the Polo well, they better bring in the 1.2TSI. Otherwise the 1.4 one is just like any other compact (Clio, etc). No difference.

Damn it, why can't they launch properly. 1.2 TSI is what we want, who the hell gives a crap about the 1.4NA nothing new.

That's because its only normal for a car company to offer their highest spec model first before bringing in their lower spec-ed one. That logic is so that for those who can't wait and can afford it, they will get the higher spec one. Makes a lot of sense man...but if you're patient enough you'll be rewarded with the 1.2.

Bro they confirm are bringing in the 1.2 man. It will probably be their biggest seller once it comes in....drove the 1.4 today in a preview. Build quality is so much better than any of its rivals in this segment...makes you feel so much more important. The leather seats come in three colours and the DSG is just a gem. With its quick shifts, you should be prepared for better consumption figures than with the likes of the Jazz or Yaris.

Guys, make sure you go check it out this weekend at their showroom. Seriously. The car looks amazing and it's seriously worth the money. Right now it's priced at $62,800 but it will change with the new COE today.

Its the only compact car with a 7 speed dsg. Its packaged quite well I suppose. Making swift lane changes or overtaking should be a breeze.

I think I will wait for the 1.2 TSI.

I agree the DSG is good. I am currently driving the VW Caddy TDi with DSG. biggrin.gif

I think the 1.2 TSi is the higher spec one leh, not the 1.4L engine one.
