The Mazda8 incorporates some of the graceful styling cues of the CX-7. Giving MPVs a fresh new face. Once on sale, it will be one of the largest MPVs to be seen plying our roads. Aimed at the Odyssey, the Mazda8 will give would be Odyssey owners something to think about.

I still prefer the look of the new Odyssey over this. In fact, I personally think Mazda 6 is the only successful interpretation of Mazda's new 'design language' so far...

too bad the new Mazda 8 only available with 7-seats...
actually 3rd row only can fit 2 adults at most...like in the Estima... so it's actually a 6-seater... but it should be a good compromise... Odyssey sells because of looks and handling for an MPV, but it's hard to get in and out due to low-roof... Estima/Previa decently spacious, but low seat height and useless 3rd row for adults puts me off...design still rather van-like and bulky... Presage not too low like odyssey, and not too van-like like the estima/previa, but interior space suffers... so i think the Mz8 has it's potential... will they be bringing in the 2.5L 170bhp or 2.3turbo 250bhp?? -------------------- The Married Men 91.3FM

JDM units only have NA 2.3L 163bhp (as found in the Ford S-Max i think)...
and 2.3Turbo with 245bhp... or maybe for singapore market, we'll be getting the CX-7 2.5NA 170bhp engine?? -------------------- The Married Men 91.3FM
