Nissan Sunny N16 Questions

hi bros

 

 

just got my ride. a used Sunny, so just questions (silly as some of it may seems)

 

1. alarm. does the stock alarm trigger a sound from the car?

cos now i lock, unlock, and even depressing the 'car finder' the car will only blink

its signal lights.

i just wonder if the 'horn' linked to the alarm is faulty.

 

2. since mine's a 2006 Sunny, i believed it's a FL version.

is the headlight H1 or H4? confused....

 

3. anywhere i can find a replacement for the compartment at the centre of the dashboard?

the spring seems to be loose liao, meanin it can remain open.

dun think it supposed to be like this, rite?

1) Yes, lock is one beep, unlock 2 beeps.

 

2) no idea

 

3) Can try Fong Tat. If you prefer refurbished can try the scrap yards are woodlands park e

1) Alarm : The previous owner must have activate the silent mode.

Just press both the Lock/Unlock button together to return

to normal mode.

FYI, Nissan OEM alram is made by Wheels and the model is

HC-333. Nothing fantastic about this alarm model and you

can get the whole set for $50 @ sunshine plaza.

 

2) Headlight : H1

 

3) Centre console : Try rent a Sunny and swapped it over.

What happened to your presea, sent to scrap?

Is the FC better than your previous ride? Thinking of changing too.

i sold it off via sgcarmart.

 

i think the FC of the sunny is better. but will need to monitor.

 

overall happy with the Sunny.

although i maintained the Presea quite well, it's nonetheless a 19 year old ride

 

this sunny being only 4 years gave a more comfortable drive and ride

OD OFF light is up means OD is off. It is so call 3rd gear.

When OD is ON, or no light, it is 4th gear.

Is there anything i can install to help on it?

Is there anything i can install to help on it?

I think this has to do with the gear ratio for the AT.

I am not sure on how to fix it.

Also, you might want to check your break. Just in case the pad is touching the disc.
