Yaloryalor 5th Gear January 24, 2011 Share January 24, 2011 if given a choice between the 2 vehicles, which do you think is a better, more valuable purchase? which offers a better fuel economy, reliability, performance, comfort? anybody owns the 2 vehicles care to give a review? I have drove both cars before (1 week for Mazda 6 and few times for Leagacy) both are previous model. I would say Legacy is more powerful and handling wise better due to the AWD. Mazda interior is nicer, better dials and meters. Overall I still prefer leagacy over mazda 6.
Taciturn Neutral Newbie January 24, 2011 Share January 24, 2011 I love the facelifted Mazda 6.Legacy is quite bulky.
Ladykillerz 4th Gear January 24, 2011 Share January 24, 2011 (edited) if we are comparing '09 Mazda6 2.0R vs. '09 Subaru Legacy 2.0i, I will go for Mazda6.. if we are comparing '09 Mazda6 2.5R vs. '09 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT, I will definitely go for Legacy!!! more valuable purchase: both values are equally bad, everyone are rushing for Camry. better fuel economy: definitely Mazda6. reliability: both are okay. performance: Legacy 2.5GT sure OK! comfort: Mazda6 should win by that bit. Vhtfhwlego Supercharged January 24, 2011 Share January 24, 2011 Legacy lost the sleek frameless door for it's current line up. By looks alone, I go for MZ. However if that comparing current Mz and last legacy, I would prefer a outdated legacy due to the frameless sleek design.

Expertz 1st Gear January 24, 2011 Author Share January 24, 2011 i went to test drive both cars, saw the legacy and felt that its interior is very dated, the car i saw is all black and looks like some ah beng ah seng piece of junk (sorry legacy owners) decided that i won't even want to buy such a car, my current integra is already very bengish and i hate it when guys stare at me at traffic lights so legacy is out of the question went to test drive the mazda 6 today, loved its interior, really felt like a luxury car (i know audi more luxury but no $$) engine is very noisy at high speeds but suspension is good and i felt comfortable with the car even if i drove at high speeds was very into the car but the dealer wouldn't want to lower its price, was offered a final price of 75k which i felt was too high i was willing to pay up to 73k and the dealer didn't seem intent on negotiating, had he offered 74 i would have signed on the spot left the place and decided to look at other cars browsing thru sgcarmart there's a chevy epica at 70k, very cheap but its interior is horrible with tons of plastics there's also a honda accord at 76.8k, will go test the accord tomorrow, hopefully its a good drive and the dealer is nice originally didn't want to buy a honda because its way too common on sg roads
