Was at the VW showroom yesterday and walked around but nothing really excited me. The new Jetta was ok, inside wise with all the dashboard systems and all, its the same as our Skodas.

Than I popped into the Skoda showroom in Leng Kee and found out some exciting news, the 2.0TSI Superb model is coming in and ready for taking orders before the COE increases again, which seems most likely since alot of people are changing or upgrading their cars.

The new Skoda Superb 2.0TSI is fully featured with keyless entry and push button start, price wise, the 2.0TSI is actually cheaper than the VW Passat 1.8TSI by a good 20k. To order it, they said it will take about 3 months to get in.

I was so tempted, the 1.8TSI was going for 146,000. Full featured model at a special price this weekend only. And is available now.

GO check it out today!

What should I get the 2.0TSI or 1.8TSI......hmm...

not $126K, priced at $15XK. The full spec is really tempting.

Hi bros, here is the correct information, i was excited did not get the facts right.

1.8 TSI sedan is selling at SGD$149,900, the 1.8TSI Combi is selling at SGD$160,900. 2.0TSI sedan SGD$159,900 and 2.0TSI Combi at SGD$170,900.

All full specs. Options way higher than the VW Passat.

Includes: Xenon, 9 airbags, bluetooth, parallel parking assistance, 18" alloys, side window blinds, panoramic roof for combi, fog lights with connering function, extensive rear legroom, sound system with digital equiliser,etc.... you'll need to visit or call to get more information.

Thats the correct information, if you guys want to get it, suggest that you consideri ordering earlier to prevent higher COE costs... Car delivery Sep though... If wait till then cars will be even more expensive due to higher COE prices.

I missed out when it was first launched. but the 2.0TSI is really tempting especially with all the options.

Anyways heads up for the bros here.

Slow mover. High risk of over stocking. You can see Superb MkI and old Octavia in the showroom not so long ago. biggrin.gif Those cars jam already, who would buy?

Yah.. superb is positioned in a tough segment.. supposed to be executive sedan but SG executives are usually brand conscious.. only few will take the plunge

COE dropped $4k mah. Eyeing at the combi. Was there yesterday but the SE (a lady) kinda not interested. Who is the best SE in HA? The trade in value offered by them not competitive.

There seems to be only ONE SE in HA. Everytime I went to HA, I see her.

If you think the trade price offerred by HA is not competitive, try ask the SE from VW. You will be sure to vomit blood. The VW SE tat I met was even more "tao", their trade price is 2K below HA. But I am not HA trade price is good, it is just average.
