my dad had this Ford Cortina in the early 70s. I 'stole-drove' it 4am the next day after he bought it home (he was still sleeping) and drove from novena area to kampong java, bukit timah (near KK), the little india, serangoon rd (boon keng) than jalan toa payoh and back, one big loop, then went back to my bed as if nothing had happened.
It had a 2000cc engine and manual gear, was top of the line at the time.

The first Cedric ever i guess. I am sure there are a few more photos missing in the collection and hopefully i will be able to dig them up. Hope everyone enjoyed this short nostalgic post thanks to my dad. your dad must have own afew "jingshan"  |

My dad's ride:
- Honda Civic 2nd Gen (I wasn't born yet) - Used Ford Escort (Many stories, I was very young, sold in months) - Nissan Pulsar 1.0 DX (used for 10 years!) - Ford Laser 1.3 GL - Used Daihatsu Charade Sedan 1.3 - Used Ford Laser 1.6 GL Ghia - Toyota Vios 1.5 - Took over my Suzuki Swift 1.5 Nothing glamorous like you guys, but for me it's good enough as a father's car and I'm still proud of them.... I didn't get the drive most of the cars until the second ford laser onwards. I will post some pics too later...
