My friend drives a C70 T5. I also drive a V50 2.4i. Both are 5 potters. I think it's generally easy to maintain. At least so far nothing major happened. Actually he's considering selling his ride, you interested? I can hook the both of you up.

Maybe it's a little late for this response.
Nevertheless, here's my feedback on my C70. Age: just cross 3 yrs Petrol consumption: 10.6l/100km (9.4km/lit) Reliability: drive and build like a tank Maintenance cost: servicing cost is about $400 @ SM Motor. Guess that's quite typical for conti cars. |

Anyway, my driving pattern differs quite a bit from my wifey. She is the one that brings the reading down :)
Average these days is 10.9lit/100km to 11lit/100km. Since I drive it more. Guess a lot of time these readings also depends on the traffic condition that you are driving in. This post has been edited by Nitezz: Jul 6 2012, 04:57 PM |

I am using DirectAsia for my insurance.
You should be able to get the rates online. I'm paying slightly less than 2k for 40% ncd |

any one bought a volvo C70 T5 ? i have a used one with me now, need add some mods to improve handling, any one else tried mods ? Used to drive a C70. Had a K&N Typhoon kit, item code 69-9000TS. I ordered it from IPD USA which, including shipping, was cheaper than ordering locally. Also had 6 pot front brakes along with all round steel braided hose. I almost purchase the IPD Sway Bar Upgrade Kit after reading the reviews, but sold the car before that could happen. Basically the engine is the same as the one found in the last generation Ford Focus ST. If you have spare cash, you could opt for the Heico stuff which Autovox carries. The exhaust + diffuser kit is a beauty and it is legal. This post has been edited by High_octane: Jan 2 2013, 08:16 PM |

A change to a thicker rear anti roll bar is always worth it. I did my S60 (prev gen) upgrade at then SM less than $400 with 1 yr warranty. Handling is sweet thereafter.

Which part of the handling is bad for you?
My issue with the car is mainly the big turning radius required for U-turns. Thinking of going for a stage 1 tuning since the warranty ended |
