Point here is why are luxury cars using tyres that are not associated with quality but economy...

What's wrong?
Please stop associating VW with luxury cars. Don't be a sucker to advertising. Volkswagen = People's car. |

Mathematically,
Audi = Lexus VW = Toyota Skoda = Daihatsu So, VW = B&B car Passat = Camry Jetta = Corolla Altis This post has been edited by Kangadrool: Aug 11 2012, 12:05 PM |

So rich people cannot eat cheap food like hawker? i'm just trying to highlight TS's point. I've got no issue with whatever tyres people want to put on their cars. Just that people should stay away from Falken. Most of us know that Falken tyres have very poor grip though they have been improving, there's still a long way to go.. |

Falken tyres are OK tyres. Problem is ZE 912 are not UHP tyres but many ppl using them as such. driving at high speeds in the rain etc. NOBODY will dare to drive anywhere near 120km/hr in the rain with a Yoko DB.
The fk452 not so popular and more expensive but a better tyre than the lower range ze 912. But i agree VW Jetta or Passat is not a luxury car......No point putting a P zero or CSC5. |

I will just say, the tyres are the only 4 points of contact between the car and the road. It's what keeps you on the road. How important that is to a person will reflect on what kinda tyres he buys, IMHO.
