Tiguan is using wet clutch, no issues with its 7spd DSG.
FC may not be the greatest, but its doable.

Ride and power are very good, room is good too.

Go test drive and u will know what i mean.

Fantastic ride for an SUV, no problem with gearbox, stage 1 , can go up to 240bhp, powerful, but basic interior

Oh I thought it's dsg 7 ? So tiptronic won't save much fuel than dsg I guess?

6spd tip was for the pre face lift model I think. Had a look a couple of months back. Catalogue says 7spd gb..

It is a 7 speed DSG,but with "WET" clutch, same unit as the Audi's S-Tronic....because the Tiguan's engine is longtitude mounted.

no third row; small boot for a suv. 2nd row can fold down if need to carry bigger loads.

Tiguan is on the Golf platform, wheelbase is pretty much the same. Why got ppl mention it has a 3rd row of seats? biggrin.gif

It visually looks big but on the inside it's only as big as a Golf.

Difficult to say for German cars,my friend's P.I. Audi Q5 2L TFSI gearbox ECU just need replacement[cannot change gear],costs him over $4k to do it,car less than 3 years old, mileage about 80k Km.

Not too sure about that, it looks pretty transverse in this photo:
