I am also tempted by this offer.... it is $40k off its listed price.... but dunno wat is the catch? High interest rate or $1499000 is w/o COE?

Or does this car comes with the problematic VW gearbox that everyone is talking about.

Any advices?

149900 only catch is 100K loan 7yrs.That's all
Interest still at 1.88%
This is 2.0 TSI with 6spd.
The one with problem is 1.8 TSI with 7 spd.
Price includes COE.......

In 2Q this year, many bought the Merc C180K at $150K net, with $31K OMV and $57K COE.
You do the sums, taking into account the upside COE difference now ...

No choice...now C class 1.6L is about 188K
If you look at CAT B vehicle, Superb is the best deal.

Brands aside, try a Superb and C class, then you tell me which better, you can compare all:

1. ride quality
2. power torque
3. space

Just saying, I think Opel Insignia also on offer for about the same price at the spb. Might be worth checking out, though I am not sure about the t&c attached.

But too bad, the truth is Skoda not selling well at all here.
Shitty resale price you'd get too.

The truth hurts.
