i test drove it and like it alot. very comfortable but

1. interior too ah pek

2. the car is so long but without reverse camera. can be quite difficult to park.

3. wind noise is too much for this level of luxury and price.

4. BM don't bring in the Athlete. The suspension is a tad too soft. although the electronic will intervene, you can still know the car roll too much.

in the end bought the new GS and is very happy with it.

This is the 14th gen Crown Royal. Looks much better in the flesh. Its very popular in Tokyo. The centre stack is all touchscreen, which is a smart alternative to the Lexus's cumbersome mouse.

And this is the mother of all Toyotas - a 5L V12 behemoth called the Century. Its really damn old fashioned and irrelevant, but I managed a drive in this barge of a car, and it rides supremely well and its as quiet as a church mouse. Lovely to cruise around. Don't think it can take corners well I guess...

go with the Mark X. it still has the 2.5 V6.

Well, what I am commenting is the PI's choice of engine they decided to bring into SG.

The Crowns can be had with 2.5 V6, 3.5 V6, 4.3 V8 and 3.5 Hybrid. In fact I had seen a gold coloured SKM-plate NA-engine Crown Royal on the road, but haven't seen it being advertised for sale.

Have you bought your car already?

I used to drive one when I was working in Kuala Belait back in 1984 ish.

Dunno what version that was.

Very spongy cornering.

But fun to drive and with all the bells and whistles internally.
