Kb27 Supersonic October 15, 2013 Share October 15, 2013 Make sure they have the wordings boldly printed "Make In Japan". Sadly, nowadays, most are not. They have may the label "Japan Standard" or "German Standard" but they are not made in said country. Just a misdirection for those not paying attention. Funny, how the 2 countries who lost the war, but conquer the battery world today.

Hard to get Made in Japan cos their labour charges very high.

GSYuasa Neutral Newbie November 1, 2013 Share November 1, 2013 Is it suitable for Chevrolet cars? Hi Johnny, for Chevrolet usually you use DIN size battery like all continental cars and some Korea cars. The recommended brand will be our Midac brand "Sigillum" series DIN size battery, capacity range 55 to 100Ah. We do carry the Midac "Itineris" Start/Stop battery designed for Start/Stop feature car, for your info, by year 2015 all European cars will be having Start/Stop feature, in-facts, most of the continental cars now already having this feature. You could check out our Midac battery details at Sgcarmart product list.. We strongly believed that Japan made battery will be most suitable for Japan cars, and European made battery for continental cars. Thanks..
Asure7 1st Gear November 1, 2013 Share November 1, 2013 (edited) This battery is damn good (IMO)... Best I've used. Cranking time shorten by 1/2, and can feel the strength during crank. Even better than Varta Silver (which felt just normal to me). Previously used batteries: Stock Yuasa (wet), Panasonic, Amaron, FIAMM, Hoppecke, Varta Silver. GSYuasa Neutral Newbie November 4, 2013 Share November 4, 2013 hi, which particular model is suitable for Honda FD? i understand there's a vent valve to allow refilling of distilled water. true? hi, this is a miantenance free battery which designed with vent valve, due to Japanese OEM request for safer and longer battery life products. As all battery will have emmission due to pressure bulit up within the battery during operation, the vent plug will allow gas emmission from the tiny holes and also allow you to correct the electrolyte level by topping up water if necessary to prevent explosion caused by low electrolyte level and also prolong the life spend of the battery. This is a maintenance free battery, with battery life indicator, all lead acid MF automotive battery are filled with electrolyte, except some designed with vent valve and some chose to sealed it. As mentioned above the advantage of not completely sealing the battery. Manufacturing code will be indicate on the battery, we usually keep only 1 to 1.5 months stock level to ensure our stock are all fresh stock. Warranty period various on petrol or diesel application, we suggest that check with our dealers. ↡ Advertisement
