My workshop was fiercely trying to sell me this product.

I flatly rejected them. [laugh][laugh]

Maybe I old fashioned or old mind set. I still prefer the traditional or conventional method of using only engine oil approved by my car manufacturer and servicing my car (changing of parts and fluids) at the stipulated intervals. That should keep my car (including engine parts) in good working/operating conditions.

ATF Additives

Due to the additives contained, rubber and plastic seals in power-steering and transmissions receive optimal care. Leaks in the gearbox caused by hardened or brittle seals are prevented or remedied. In addition, holes and ducts in the transmission are cleaned, the performance of the oil is revitalized. The noise from the power-steering will be reduced and the shifting operations are improved. Using ATF Additives, the service life of automatic transmissions can be lengthened and repair costs reduced.

- Prevents oil loss

- Regenerates seals

- Cleans and protects

- Improve steering characteristic and reduced the noise

- Damps down shifting operations and protects from wear

- Prevents deterioration of oil and oxidation

- Lowers repair costs and lengthens the service life

oil at 5k is best

that one more for turbo engine already leh.....

actually depends on what you are using, for NA some will cause engine to feel more sluggish before the 6-7k mark....

some still can last all the way to 10k...depends on the oil also

tks bro pandaeyes. seemed like 8ml 225ml is better than 300ml for microscopic chemical bonding to worn metal parts.

some more only need 1500km before oil drain, but in any case will top up during next oil change.

have u tried xado product on the transmission?

oil at 5k is best

oil is to lubricate; this is to chemically bond with worn metal parts + form additional ceramic layer.

best to have both then?

oil have additive that can cling to surface as well as anti wear

u dont need extra ingredient that add on to it

give u a scenario

when u are hot on the beach, which would u prefer

1) full nude

2) shorts

3) fake singha beer t shirt and shorts

4) full office wear with suit and tie

engine problems arise from HEAT not from coating..etc

dont add "gae zua" thing to suffocate and spoil your engine COOLING EFFICIENCY

agree, but not totally as heat arises from friction between metal parts contact as well as fluid contact w metal parts. btw, the ceramic coating does not coat on smooth surface; it merely penetrates the worn area n fill itself up till smooth n that's it (according to relevant literature / diagram / video).

Never use ANY additives on Automatic Gearbox,it may cause "Partial Slip",it may be smoother, but the way the power it delivered may not be the 100% to the Mfg specs.Automatic gearbox just need the Factory's specs oil..it will give trouble free for years to come.

just did my 120k km major svc -

- 5w-30 castrol edge titanium eo (byo)

- liqui moly ceratec added to eo (byo)

- drain n fill sp-iii autotrans fluid (byo)

- bleed n refill bosch dot 4 brake fluid

- injected 8ml syringe of xado ex120 revitalizant for autotrans

during start up after park ride for few hrs, initial tappet noise diminished. car also feels lighter probably due to 5w-30 (prev, usin 0w-40). engine n trans noise also noticeably less intrusive in cabin. 7yo ride kinda become < 3yo ride again, less the soft occasional squeaks.
