Audi a4 B8 1.8 review by experience seniors here..

Hi guys, anybody is driving audi a4 B8?

What is the review so far and how has the car been like?

 

 

Is the car reliable?

Any issues with the Multitronic gearbox?

Or any mechanical or electronic failures?

 

 

So far i been driving Mitsubishi Lancer GLX CS3, a 2006 model i bought as a 3yr old second hand in 2009. Driving for 5 years+.

Zero problem. Not sure if Audi will be able to give such a problem free experience too??

Really depends on heng suay..

 

Go read up on vagsg.. Every car mk got their set of unique problems...

 

But seems like conti tends to hv more problems then jap.. Yet it really depends also.. My dad bmw f10 528i is problem free for 3yrs now.. No major issues at all. Just regular svc n maintenance.

 

1 thing to note is the cost of repairs of a jap vs conti make.

If you are looking for absolute reliablity, you'd have better luck elsewhere.

expect problem incidents to be tenfold

and probably likewise for maintenance costs

one gbox or engine failure alone is enough to do your lancer engine+gbox overhaul+full suspension overhaul+enough for full car grooming for cny

 

go up the "progression ladder" slowly first , go for entry level conti car rather than jump to the big 3 german, sure die

 

u just go sin ming, hang out at servotronic 1 day, u should get your answer

better bring a wheelbarrow to pickup the shit brix

Get a Lexus will be a better choice if u compare to tis A4. 👍

Forget about it since you hardly know about Audi.

 

I moved from Nissan Sunny to BMW 520 with my eye open as there are loads of comments about this car;

i read tons of pages in VAGSG, as suggest.

 

 

Not much problem for audi a4 B8 leh..

 

 

just some minor slight regular servicing most of the time.
