I planning to get a set of volk racing wheels TE37SL. Would you buy from the local AD stamford vs reputable local tyre shop if the former price is just a negligible amount more?

What size are you looking at? I am really happy with the TE37SL. Really a light set of wheels even for the size I am using.

Was contemplating between this and the Advan GT.

I am looking at 17 which is the smallest for the range, about 7kg. Thanks for your sharing. What is your size? I understand the finish is glossy type. Is it easy to get scratched and to clean?

Mine is 19 x 9.5  and 19 x 11

That weighs about 9kg each.

Only the spokes are glossy, with the "pressed graphite" colour. The edge are machined.

Do note, the TE37SL does not have center caps. Not possible to fit them either.

So far, no damage from washing and yes, easy to wash with a mitten.

 

I did apply sealant when I got the wheels though.
