Installing Stebel 80 TMagnum Horn

The installer just installed it on the same wire points after removing the stock horns in my previous sunny. The horns were grounded to the chassis.

I want to transfer them to my Altezza. Do I need some kind of relay or can I do the same like the previous install?

Thanks

if your Altezza is having 2 stock horns, then there is no need to add the relay, if the stock is only one, best is to add in the relay that comes with the Stebel, the Stebel draws about 12amps (6 per horn), any relay that's more than 12amps will do (the one that comes with the Stebel is rated at 30amps)wink.gifwink.gifwink.gif

Vtim,

So you're saying that if there's only one stock horn, it's advisable or a must to add a relay? I had only one stock horn and I added two Stebel's without relay. Any potential problem?

check your car manual on relays for your car, there should be one stated for used for horn, if the spec is 10A, then I suggest you put in the relay that comes with the Stebel horns. If the relay is spec is 30A, than it's ok nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

I DIY those horns on my Sunny as well.

Just take out the stock horns and Plug and Horn on the new Stebel Horns, no relay needed if you are having default 02 horn like some bro mentioned.
