2 key words of interest:

1) "Authentic" - Does this means this is not another rebadged of some other models under GM?

2) "Diesel" - If you want this in SGP, think long long liao [sweatdrop] unless it is used for cabs.... [laugh]

Looks like my Aveo5 before diet by Slim 10... [thumbsup]

where is this car made? the dials look like the ones from an optra. overall, looks very bold and macho. good alternative to the usual CRV's and RAV4's.

According to my SE, this Captiva is coming here and it is made in Korea. It was also reported in the Torque magazine. It is expect to be introduced here early next year. Would think that if GM is sensible, the price should be comparable to Santa Fe or Tucson or Sportage and must be lower than that of Harrier 2.4. Would think that it should be in the region of $65 to 75K to be competitive in the market !

My SE from SA also mentioned something like they will bring in Chevy SUVs and MPVs besides the current offerings of Aveo and Optra next year. But did your SE mentioned whether r they bringing in the petrol or diesel variants?

Btw, anybody knows if Chevy produces any hybrid or CNG or whatever fuel saving models that could likely find their way to our shores?

Doubt that they will bring in the Diesel variant as it is not viable to register a diesel pass car...7 time road tax ????
