Car Perfume/Air Freshener

Hi there,

Anyone have thought about the side effect of all these

car fresheners to our health.

 

I was told that too much of these is bad of our health.

I tried to use pure essential oil from boby shop.

Dripped a few drops onto a wooden balls & it smell really

good & feel better.

 

Any comments??

 

Don't ever use that in your car. It'll get into your aircon vent and afterwhich, the air flow will start to smell of "expired" essential oil.

For me, I use Hotel "soap" and place it underneath the chair.

I agree. In my small enclosed office room, I used that. The next few days, the room stunk like damn sourish. Gave it up totally and only use water. Room back to odourless.

What do MCFers use?

 

I used to use the oil burner type

put a few drops of scented oil on the felt piece, insert in the burner

burner plugs into cigarette lighter.

as it heats up the smell gets stronger.

 

this is the best I have used, will not leave any air con sour smell

easy to change scent, today - lemon, tomorrow- lavender next day strawberry

Bro, I was using that in my car A few drops of essential oil or scented oil onto a felt and insert it into a defusor that is plugged into the ciggie socket.

 

My personal feel is that the scent is there only initially but due to the air-con, it will be "unnoticeable" after awhile (few minutes later).

 

And once you stop using it totally, the air coming out from the air-con vent will smell like "expired" essential oil

 

I've discarded the defusor since and have to clear my air-con unit with 2 canisters of chemical cleaner before the "sour" smell is gone

I feel that it is like putting durians in your car. For those who liked fresh durian smell that is, the so-called durian aroma will fill your car for the day or two. There after, the car will have a sour durian stench that will stay for weeks to come

 

Now I do away with any fragrance or scented product in my car

Recently brought a bottle of Air Freshener @ EssoMobil having promotion, GreenShower Phyton Aromatic Air Freshener Is Green in bottle and stated 100% natural plant antibiotics that is proven safe to human beings

I do not use commercial air freshener anymore as afriad that the

"urine" smell might coma back when air con has just been switched on.

Saw @ GIANT also having promotion on bamboo charcoal car freshener, aromatic car freshener, ionizer and carmat displayed on a standee.

so far ive been using those charcoal air fresheners fr jap, they're actually quite good, aft i tapao'ed dinner (char kway tiao somemore!), a couple of hrs later when i drove again, no smell at all
