FIAT Panorama 1.4 Five and Seven Seaters

Was at IMM yesterday after visiting my ancesters graves at CCK. I chance upon a road show by Fiat, displaying various models of its vehicles.

I was quite impress with the Fiat Panorama, 1400cc 5 seaters on display. It has a high head room for any tall adults of over 6 feet. When I come onto the next vehicle on display, I was taken a back by what I see.

It was the same model as earlier (Fiat Panorama, 1.4) but it is a 7 seaters. I am just wondering, how on earth a 1400cc car seat 7 adults and with power to move? [confused]

While standing there and looking at other models (spend almost 1 & 1/2 hour there), I notice that there are numbers of sales for this 7 seaters, Panorama.

Any MCF members who owns this 7 seaters, Panorama care to share on the performance and fc of the vehicle. Your imput is very much appreciated.

Also whilst looking at other models, one that also catches my eye is the Fiat Grande Punto, 1.4 Coupe Dynamic Skydome at $69,900/-. A 2 door coupe with sun-roof over the front and rear seat. [thumbsup][thumbsup] Well, it doesn't suit me anymore (family man) but if I am young and single, I would consider getting one. The road show runs until Sunday.

All models comes with a package monthly installment of $488/- (10 years loan).

Cheers.

Have test driven the car with 5 person total and the car is able to pick up and go beyond 100km/h without engine stress sounding.

It have very fast pickup and ease of driving position. Infact you get used to the car in no time.

A wonderful car with ample power and seating position. Rather good petrol consumption i would assume with the 1.4l engine.

I guess they have play around with the gearing ratios. The SE who serve me told me that he had sold quite a lot of the panoma to arc-ke-tech.. ( Forgot spelling ).

Good buy!!!

Fiat has always make good small car for the past 100years. [cool] But small doesn't means it sacrifice engine performance , go for the test drive and feel for youeself.

Btw , the local panorama is having the same engine as the Grande Punto.

not trying to be pedantic (ok so i am [:p] but its more of me being bored).

There is a major error in your phrasing. are the pedals too close together or too far apart???

How much are they selling the 7seater Panorama?

Fiat used to have another model call Fiat Mutipla that seats 6 pax, 3 in front, 3 behind (like Honda Edix), saw one still at my neighbourhood carpark.

These small cc 7-seater cars have been around for some time, eg. Toyota Sienta, Toyota Spacio, Honda Mobilio, Nissan Cube, etc. If only driving 7 adults like twice a week or less often, and most of the time only driving up to 5 pax, y will anyone want to buy bigger CC MPVs for? More road tax, insurance, FC, etc.

And to answer your question, if Suzuki APV at 1.3ton/92bhp can carry 8 and move, then Panorama 1.3ton/77bhp can carry 7 and move, which makes Sienta 1.2ton/110bhp seems more than enough for 7, then Wish 1.4ton/140bhp becomes overpowered for 7 ???? [dizzy]

See this link on Toyota Sienta and Spacio:

Hi, sorry for the late reply as I am busy with my house renovation.

It is price at around $70,000/- or monthly $488/- for 10 years loan with cash back at $3,888/-.

Spoke to my colleague who own a 5 seaters. The Panorama does have power for the 5 seaters with fc at about 11.5 to 12 km/l and he like best is the head room. He devide his boot space into 2 layers and use one of the layer to store his golf bag. The rear door for boot is like a normal van where its open wide upwards and very very big loading & unloading space.

cheers [wave]
