Hi guys, do you change your tyres by mileage or years?

My shoes almost going to be 2 years old and has already clocked 40K.

Still look new and has about at least 60% of the thread left.

Do you think it is necessary to change?

Generally is like 2 years or 40K whichever comes first [;)]

However, some Bros here judge based on the thread marking indicator on the tyre [;)]

Bro, care to elaborate that you meant inside botak?confused.gif Do you mean the thread pattern inner side worn out, or after removing the tyre internal something worn out?

If it is thread pattern inner side worn out likely its the wheel alignment need to adjust....

I think general guideline is around 2 years or 40k km.....

Or alternative you can try a few hard braking in wet and dry road to confirm the grip, but do the hard braking safely, watch out for other fellow drivers....

no worries mate, my tires have been on for 2yrs too, 41k km and going strong, still got plenty of thread left. usually i run till it goes bald totally, slightly more than than the wear indicator.
