Audi unveils A4 with Yaris-beating fuel economy...in Europe

Audi is adding another diesel model to their compact A4 lineup in Europe with the 1.9 TDI e. The new 1.9L diesel has 115 hp and can get the A4 up to 62 mph in just over 11 seconds. More importantly, it can go over 45 miles on every US gallon of diesel while only emitting 137 g of CO2 per km. The efficient engine is combined with a wide-ratio six speed gearbox that helps keep the engine spinning as slow as possible. Audi also trimmed the weight of the new model with items like an aluminum hood along, low rolling resistance tires and aero tweaks. The TDI e is available as either a sedan or wagon and starts at

It is no point talking about diesel cars because of tax. High time for our Gahman to reduce tax on diesel car as now the emission problem has improve by leap and bound. Cheers!

for your info.. VW Golf Gti turbo dissel FC better than petrol Nissan Latio on paper ok.. that's how good diessel cars are on FC.

 

too bad government here impose so high tax on personal diessel car [thumbsdown]

 

Dissel vehicles are better. My family's Old Chevy dissel MT car is 24 years old now.. and its still running..
