hey guys...theres poly urethene Bushings available for the GTI....superpro Poly...quite a gd brand la...anyone intrested? thinking of having a grp Buy...cost for all the suspension bushings inclusive of engine mounting is $32x but can get the price lower la if more ppl buy....

R these much harder then rubber bushings/mountings? Which suspension bushings wil b changed. Like how many bushings for each wheel?

 

How about steering bushings. Have also?

engine mounting alone is 70+ and thats for the center one la...in the package there are:

1.engine steady bushing

2.(front)Control Arm Lower - Front Bushing

3.(front)Control Arm Lower - Rear Bushing

4.(rear)Control Arm Lower - Front Bushing

5.(rear)Control Arm Lower - Rear Bushing

of coz harder la...refer to my prev post la for the details...other cars sure have but have 2 check with the main dealer in SG...

whats the engine steady bushing? The rest are the front and rear subframe bushings which is the norm.

So your group buy is only for the GTI's or for any car?

 

If u do for all makes, u might get a bigger group buy & maybe better prices in the end.

 

I am interested in the suspension & steering bushings but not engine mounting cos then the vibrations from the engine will b worse.

 

Do u have some details about the bushings like made by whom & in which country.

its the bush tat does most of the cushioning/jerking when u throw clutch...

 

 

i jus went thru their site..... they have 2 type of bushes for the undercarriage... competition type or standard replacement.

 

so better know wat u r getting n know for wat purpose u want before placing order.

Ok. Can try lah. My bushings r about time to change anyway so might as well put in PU bushings.
