Hi Guys,

A bad habit of mine... I used to put my gear to neutral when i come to a stop at traffic light. When driving auto, I put my gear to "P" when I stop... does it cause any issue: pros and cons?

Try to leave at 'D' unless you expect the redlight is longer than 5 mins. dizzy.gif

Regular change between 'P' and 'D' will worn out the torque convertor (or something like that).

But if expect to stationary for > 5 mins, change to 'P' to save fuel. Waiting for carpark should switch off the engine. tongue.gif

Seriousl wat Sickscientist said is right.

If u do it often, then within 5 yrs u will need to change gear box, that may cost u 5-10k.

That why they came out with setptronic.

Meet up at 28th, i will try to come!!!
