Genie47 1st Gear July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 T-IV is the best stuff there is for Toyota or any Aisin-Warner transmission. No need to find another substitute.
Trex101 3rd Gear July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 Toyota Type T-IV is probably a semi-syn at most while Amsoil Syn ATF is PAO base fully synthetic that meets Type T-IV and latest Dexron VI spec. This new Dexron VI spec is suppose to so shear stable that GM wants to spec it as lifetime fill oil.
