new toyota vehicles requires use of toyota type IV ATF for autobox.

i know that this is good stuff with lots of friction modifiers although it is not fully synthetic.

Any other synthetic alternatives ??? can use amsoil ATF ??

Toyota Type T-IV is probably a semi-syn at most while Amsoil Syn ATF is PAO base fully synthetic that meets Type T-IV and latest Dexron VI spec. This new Dexron VI spec is suppose to so shear stable that GM wants to spec it as lifetime fill oil.
