Gabriel 1st Gear September 30, 2007 Share September 30, 2007 so do u run a biz...coz u def nid a biz to be able to get one... and be prepared for high servicing costs when u get one..coz some of the bros haf sold off theirs and changed to cars dues to this... not forgetting that it is onli @ 65bhp...compared to other eurovans such as opel combo 1.7cdti and fiat doblo...1.9..(100bhp if memory serves me rite) and driving commercial vehicle u are limited to onli 70km/h..which to most here is unacceptable... and u are not allowed to change to sports rims... and yes renault parts are kinda expensive... though u maybe away of the limitations of commercial vehicles ownership... me find no harm in mentioning it juz in case u dun okie..now that me has listed some of the 'cons' of kangoo and commercial vehicles.. let me touch on the more positive things.. cant comment much on the technical aspects as me is not the technical person.. but can tell u ...after driving my goo for 2yrs and 2 months... me will tell u ..me is still loving it... zippy on the acceleration..aided by the turbo with kicks in at 2.5-3rpm... but of coz...u did to know how to bring it to ur advantage.. maintenance wise..so far no issues..except the high servicing costs which may burn a hole in ur pocket... FC wise..being diesel...on a tank of 40L ...u can expect to travel up to 850km if u are travel mostly on highways or @ least 700km...if u travel a mix of highway, city and jams... the worst i got was 600km..and that was during run-in period and running on spc... somehow spc doesnt work for me...low mileage...tonnes of black smoke..even when reversing(with stepping on accelerator)... onli issue so far is wheel alignment...so far me had it done once... no major issues for me so far ,*touch wood... top up with bodykits, foggies(at own risk), roof racks, heavily tinted glass(since the model u linked us to has glass all round) and maybe sport rims(at own risk)...then i muz say..kangoo will turn out to be one fierce ride... for more info..u can refer to kangooclub singapore or eurovan club

Diesel 1st Gear December 12, 2009 Share December 12, 2009 You need a registered company to buy & register the van. Don't have to be YOUR OWN company. Go EuroVanClub & consult the gurus, from company registration to maintaining the van

Diesel 1st Gear December 14, 2009 Share December 14, 2009 i remembered the combo had black smoke problems, but performance wise, Combo & Caddy is better Latest Berlingo 1.6 HDI also damn power
Opel17 6th Gear December 14, 2009 Share December 14, 2009 i remembered the combo had black smoke problems, but performance wise, Combo & Caddy is better Latest Berlingo 1.6 HDI also damn power Previously, I had the OPEL Combo DTI for 3 yrs, kenna letter from NEA for black smoke. Their roadside agent din managed to capture the black smoke on photo/video, or else summon straightaway. Must go service and send for smoke test within certain times. Even after service, also must worry becos AD say black smoke is very normal for diesel vehicles. In the end, sold the Combo.
