There are 2 jobs to choose:

1. Higher monthly salary, need to frequently work OT (without additional OT pay), sometimes till very late at night.

2. Lower monthly salary, rarely OT

If choose 1, usually go home very late. Higher salary

If choose 2, go home on the dot. Lower salary but if you divide your monthly pay over the hours work, it will be higher than choice 1.

Given that other conditions are the same, which would you choose?

provided the salary is high enough to justify the amount of OT, i'd go with the notion of high salary high ot.

i'd rather be maximising output than having surplus energy with no chance of earning extra income.

With no specific figures involved, will choose 2.

If money/fame/power (or a BMW5 series [laugh] ) can gives us genuine contentment... there won't be so many celebrities on drugs, suicide liao..

The chinese character "福" (blessing) = god + one plot of field

And that's happiness defined by our ancestor [flowerface]

To really assess properly, will need to know more info.

1. How lower is low, how high is high? (salary)

2. How much of OT are we looking at.

Only that way can a person assess

1.Is the low salary enough

2. Does the higher frequency of OT results in a similar/lower hourly rate?
