Resolve IE Error Message "IE cannot open page, operation aborted"

Guys, I am having this problem when trying to load www.mycarforum.com on my IE 6, it will give me everytime an error message that says "

 

"Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/.

Operation aborted"

 

Do anyone here know how to overcome this problem or there is really a link problem with this forum?

what you can try is to clear all the cache, cookies from your IE6 and try again.

Not sure anyone using web browser named Safari by Apple? I am using Safari instead of Internet Explorer or Firefox as certain web pages are not supported by Firefox.

Try un/reinstall IE via the Add/Remove program, Window components.

Thanks, I have tried uninstall and reinstall IE but same problem occurs.

 

Now I am using Apple Safari, no such problems and the loading is faster than IE, there is spell check built-in too.

have you tried upgrading to IE7?
