Read from ESPN Soccernet - Quote : Reds confirm signing of Swiss defender Degen Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has begun his summer overhaul of the Reds' underperforming squad by bringing in Switzerland right-back Philipp Degen on a free transfer. The 25-year-old will leave Borussia Dortmund for Anfield on July 1 when his contract with the Bundesliga club expires. His successes in FA cup and CL were more flukes than pure football ability. Other than that his footballing style is not attractive nor creative. 9 out of 11 Liverpool players gets physically bullied by Man U on the pitch.
