Anyone know where to get the double sided tape for door visor?

- must not damage car paint

- narrow type, half the width of standard masking and scotch tape.

The Heavy duty 3M brown color double sided tape is availabe everywhere, stationary shop, NTUC, Giant, etc.

I think most doucble sided tape will not damage paint work.

You can use scissor to cut it as narrow as you like. But I think 3M is about 10mm wide.

The 3M rubbery tape is easier to peel off, compared to the white color foam type.

Unless you are looking for some other type.

careful on the tape... as the tape might be under the sun for too long and it might go harden and thats very difficult to clean up if the visor is loosen. it happen to my buddy car. the car is scarred now with the bloody tape... damn. maybe should do more research on the tape. good luck. smile.gif

I get it from hardware shop. Cheap and good. Get only the rubber type, not the sponge type!

Very important is get the red one, from 3M, there are several DS tape from 3M, all also high bonding but the red one is marked for "exterior use", this is important as water may seep in the other tapes and loosen the bond.

You beri idea leh.

Neber think of it before.

The visor my SE gave me are OEM, not original.

The shape does not fit the car perfectly and has came out at some area.

Want to stick them back.

Remove by using a nylon string and use a flossing action between the visor and the surface slowly, use WD40, zippo, or adhesive remover and rub off residue. To do attempt to pull it off, you may damage the paint.
