Shock absorbers

Hi, how much is the repair cost for shock absorbers? Currently oil leak.. Any lobang? Asking behalf for a friend on his Altis.

replaced them with Koni Red or if he wanted to lower his Altis, get the Koni Yellow

i brake for no hump, how long do i have before the oil leak?

should be able to last for at least 4~5 years from how you drive. Actually for cars with high body roll and inadequate roll bar, the suspension system also undergo alot of stress esp if you keep pushing your ride very hard and fast at the corner. Wear and tear, sooner or later, the suspension liquid will slip past the inner ring of the suspension canister instead of the vents.

actually advise not to chiong hump too much also. Listen next time you see some car approach hump too quickly. you will hear some gushing noise. That's the sound made by the suspension liquid being compressed under force. Also, your CV joints plus the rack and pinion gearset kena abused also.

 

Especially those humps with very short and sharp curvature like zebra raised crossings.
