New business setup advices - Banking finance

HI All Bros and Sis,

I am in the amidst of starting up new business but sad alot of things i dun really know how to approach ... Can any give some advices to me?

 

question 1: If i doing some trading business selling some products internationally. Any good idea what is the best way to collect the payment? Hassle-free... Which bank can give me the best offer with lowest service charges?

question 2: Can i accept and bank in foreign cheques?

question 3: Any credit card payment scheme for my business??

Approach any bank and they will explain to u.

 

If u are selling products to companies and not individuals, the best hassle free way is TT(some sort of money transfer). Money can only go into your account but not out of it. U just have to give the foreign company your bank's name and TT number code.

thanks sir... any ideas any cost involved per transaction? mmm cost what i sell is something only about S$100/- plus...

Admin charges are beared by the other party. How much? Have to check with the bank. Even if they send u a cheque also have to go thru company like DHL to send it to u. U see which is more cost effective and efficient.

if u not familar best not to delve into biz, let alone biz oversea which u hv not seen the customers, and also not see their $.

 

small biz most impt is cash. u dun let customers laden you with debts by giving out credits esp when such cheques can turn out to be duds.

 

small biz need hard cash to keep moving.

 

in short, stay off.

Yes ... i agree with u in certain ways but if totally stay off bcos of the risk involved... how to do business?

to b successful, u hv to be experienced, and experience is learnt.. and some pple pay a high price to learn.

 

if u meet r pple who resort to cheating when doing biz locally, wat else can u expect fr those overseas?

Thinking of my hobby. Radio modelling hub. A building to house all indoor r/c activities + r/c shops. With outdoor facilities for r/c plane, r/c heli, drones, r/c dirt track and r/c boat pond.

 

 

Need huge land and lots of aerial clearances from CAAS.
