Like to check check with brothers here whether you encounter any air-con icing smell during raining seasons.

The smell emits from the air-con when the thermostat did not cut out the compressor in time when it reaches the lowest cooling point?

It does not happen very frequently and is this normal?

what you should do is not to set the temp to the coldest during raining or highway driving (ex. N/S HW), just set to 3/4 will do. Also if you have driven in the rain for a while, especially at night, about 3 to 5mins before you park and off the engine, turn the temp to the hottest (heater), this is to heat up and dry up any moisture in the coil so that there woundn't be any chance for mold to form nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif
