Tploh Clutched September 6, 2008 Share September 6, 2008 Just want to share my testimonial on the results of Duragloss Plastic Polish on my headlamp plastic cover as below. I am driving a 10-year old car and both my headlamps have turned yellowish due to aging. At night, I can see my right headlamp is brighter than the left, due to they suffer different level aging. I saw Autobacs has a $30 headlamp polishing promotion for its new Ubi store opening (normal $35). I was very tempted to try liao, but remembered my appointment with Benny to pick up some DG supply that same evening. So, I parked my temptation aside and asked Benny for solution on my 10-year old head lamp plastic cover when I met him at his HDB carpark around 10 p.m. He offered me a free small bottle of Duragloss Plastic Polish as sample, but later returned with a full size bottle and a MF cloth as his samples were finished. He started polishing my headlamps with his elbow grease immediately and ... The results ========= The yellowish stain goes away in seconds, and I would say my headlamps have been restored back to 90% new. I strongly believe that >95% new is achievable, as we were only using MF cloth to rub the headlamps under the "romantic" HDB carpark lamp in less than 5 minutes. I paiseh and quick quick finished off the job as I never expect to receive such a service from him. The Verdict ========= Duragloss Plastic Polish works and easy to use. And Benny is fantastic ! Two thumbs ups !! ↡ Advertisement

Emils 2nd Gear September 7, 2008 Share September 7, 2008 (edited) Does the headlamp plastic age on the side of the bulb or on the other side exposed to the environment? If it's on the side of the bulb, does that you mean you will need to dismantle the headlamp assembly....? Edited September 7, 2008 by Emils

Timmz Neutral Newbie September 7, 2008 Share September 7, 2008 Any 1 wants to share this? Dont need to keep polishing the lenses every month, so a full bottle will be excessive. Or Benny, headlamp polishing svs? hehhee
Davidcks 1st Gear September 7, 2008 Share September 7, 2008 Yup, agree, got a sample bottle from Benny previously, and I think it has some anti-static properties as well. Very fast use finish one as nowadays cars got alot of plastic! waiting for the new polishes to come in order to purchase together. Benny!!! Shipment for the new stuffs come already please let us know asap!!! cannot wait liao!!
Tploh Clutched September 7, 2008 Author Share September 7, 2008 Benny & I polish the headlamp covers which are exposed to the environment. We didn't dismantle the lamp and polish the inside of the covers. The latter would be too much work for me and a no no. That's why I said it is easy to use. If many share a bottle. then polishing the headlamps would be less than $3 in cost, vs Autobacs at $30. So, cheap cheap !

Or Benny, headlamp polishing svs? hehhee Exterior I have no problem..hehe..but actually is very easy to use..I see Bro Tploh uses it with no sweat.. just to share my experience with this plastic polish..As most of u know I got this only recently after my trip to DG..This plastic polish was formulated about a year ago..Quite a new DG product..The chemist keep telling this is a must try plastic polish..Is only one step unlike some which you need 2 to 3 steps to polish a plastic.. This product is made for for safety reason..To have Clear headlights..and he was very confident this is a must to have product..So ok when i got it in..I tried on one civic EG and EK..It works abit but I am still not convince until this is apply on Bro Tploh's ride..wooo its really amazing..Hiazz should have taken some pics but just too lazy to climb up back home for cams...
