Hi all, I think I should be driving the last Swift GTi 1.3? Been driving this car for coming to 2 years already.. I actually need a recommendation for a specialist for this Swift because it was involved in an accident 2 months ago (not my fault, claimed under the other party's insurance), so after the workshop repaired it, I'm having this problem whereby during the first start in the morning when the engine is cold, it will keep sputtering when I crank so I have to depress the accelerator while cranking too.

Also, I have to ensure that the air-conditioning is turned off, then turn the ignition halfway to start the electronics/battery before cranking it fully to start the engine, otherwise the engine just sputters.

So far, the repair workshop has changed the air box, spark plug wires, spark plugs, battery, but the problem still persists. The mechanic asks me to go JB do a bypass of the air flow meter and ECU cos it's just too costly in Singapore. Is this true?

Prior to the accident, I never encountered this issue, just needa crank and drive off.
