Taiwan: Hotels in Taipei

You can head off to any of the so called "7-11" stores and buy a WiFi card,

depending on where you're at, say Si Min Ting Starbucks,

You can either choose a 24hr prepaid card of a I think 10 days or something card,

cannot remember, but the 24hrs one is like NT$250 or something.

Most of the McDonalds have free WiFi, but you got to be very careful when using FREE WiFi access,

specially in Taiwan.

if i want to buy a pre paid telco card mainly to use the 3G for data surfing, any advice to get which telco card or amt?

 

and is there a lot of free wifi to tap in the shopping areas?

was thinking of touch down CKS airport and take the MRT to other province, then along the way play play till last 3 days come back to taipei for last shopping before heading back to SG.

My wife wana see the lavender plantation aka those 偶像剧 ..haha

I wana go tanshui and bei tou for the onsen but duno which wan good...

 

Not sure whether I can get more info for my reservist trip to Kaoshiung in Aug...haha 2 taiwan trips within 2 months...

I have been going to Taiwan for the last 25yrs now. Not lao jiao.

15 days, wah! Can do many many things man, staying which hotel, intend to go where, do what?

first day and last day gone liow, flight to and coming back, so 13 days niah.

Pocket going to burn big hole man, hotel alone will set you back damn chialat.

So many places, matter is, you got the time and wanna go not?

October....should be some good clearance sale, change of season.

i booked tango nanshi for about this price also, highly recommended if u willing to pay about this price, they have three different branches. Nanshi will be just outside a train station.

 

May I know what's the recommended mode of transport from Taipei airport to Tango Nanshi? Thanks

tango nanshi is just outside zhongshan station (one stop away from taipei main station) i think can take train from airport to taipei main station then change to zhongshan

I made enquiry with Keymans Hotel and they required full payment for my intended 7 days' stay with them this coming November.

 

Wonder is it the industry norm for such payment scheme?.

my itinerary last year, the hotel i stay was budget as we treat hotel for sleeping place only sonot fussy about it. we spent more on food, thats y came back 2kg more...

 

must try the hello kitty hotel in khaoshung, yr gf or wife will love it!
