Evillusion Supersonic February 8, 2018 Share February 8, 2018 hmm... i might just get one from daiso this weekend to see if the temp is correct or not . actually i have them both on ... the fan is more like to circulate the air in the room. Farenheit or celcius! If very cold take pail and put water and throw the pail of water into air. If straight away becomes snow your setting most probably is in Farenheit..... ↡ Advertisement

Evillusion Supersonic February 8, 2018 Share February 8, 2018 if 28F then I can also host winter Olympics at my flat liow ... that's my headache ... 28c is already enough for me ... if go down some more, I may become damaged instead ... hahaha.......like that sleep must wear mittens and earmuffs with winter clothing......hahaha. lucky i dont like to sleep with aircon switched on........past 2 nights i slept without even the fan switched on. Save my money and slept like a log until my alarm went off at 5:45.....
Thaiyotakamli Supersonic February 8, 2018 Share February 8, 2018 If your aircon needs to set to 18-20 then cold, maybe means your aircon spoilt liao. Normally any aircon which set temperature to about 22-23 consider quite cooling liao. Maybe your remote spoilt? Remote show 28 deg but aircon unit temperature is lower than that? Dunno le maybe my fat thick so need 18-20 deg lololol

Evillusion Supersonic February 8, 2018 Share February 8, 2018 I don't really sleep very well ... one thing is I have sleep apnea ... the other is me, my wife and my 3 yr old share a queen sized bed... but the aircon does help a lot ... just knock me out when it gets cold.try sleeping on your side.....best is sleep on your right side. When my kids were young 1 month- 5-6 yrs we also shared the same bed......finally i surrendered and bought a mattress just for myself and slept next to the bed. Now all grown up liao but my oc continues to accompany the youngest......i sleeps all alone in the bedroom. No disturbances....
Evillusion Supersonic February 8, 2018 Share February 8, 2018 i also don't quite like the aircon, unless it's in the hottest months when night time temp could be around 31-32 C. Then will bo bian and on it for maybe an hour or so on timer when we sleep. otherwise, we normally only use the a/c for maybe 1-1.5 hr after shower and before sleeping, to cool down. Same for the kids - we on their aircon for maybe an hour or so when they sleep, then after that (and before we sleep) will go and open their door to ventilate a bit. Oh, during the cold spell few weeks ago, closed doors/windows, no a/c, no fan, and used blankets... past few days the nights are a bit colder....if too warm i will switch on the fan but if the heat become unbearable no choice....switched on aircon and the timer (my oc) will switched it off after i fell asleep.... But wife said stuffy, so i connect our small USB (8 in) fan to phone charger and on it in the night, just to circulate the air in the room... Wife and kids all have sinus problem. Eep son, sneezes and got runny nose almost everyday... Anyone knows anyway to fix the problem? See specialist could be some allergy

Eep son, sneezes and got runny nose almost everyday... Anyone knows anyway to fix the problem? I have suffered chronic sinus problem all my life. Gets better after the room, mattress and pillows have been vacuumed with HEPA standard machine cleaner with vibrating head to shake loose all the ingrained dust and skin flakes. Aromatherapy with essential oils helps too. Today I woke up, blew my nose and have been OK since. When I travel and stay in dusty hotels ......... oh oh. Can't do without antihistamines.
Atrecord Supersonic February 8, 2018 Share February 8, 2018 wah......we oni have sneezing when on the aircon overnight. Maybe can try aroma therapy.......there are some just for sinus. Try washing the pillow, bed case and blanket first. Sometime dust and dust mites can cause sinus issues. But they've been like this for a long time. Wife is much better nowadays, but son esp., is quite bad. Wonder whether can anything be done to let him have a better quality of life... Even when changed to new bed sheet, pillow case, etc. also not much difference. See specialist could be some allergy My wife said see doc no use, as a colleague went for op, but after a while, revert to the old self again... and so she said no choice, have to just live with it... poor thing...
