Laksa (they call it curry mee) in the foodcourt is nice. Cinemas, too. To go to Petaling Street/Chinatown, it's best to take the KTM Kommuter train (station is next to mall) and transfer to the line that includes Pasar Seni Station. Petaling Street/Chinatown is a short walk from the station. Have fun! may be gong up next couple of weeks.

Boulevard is a nice hotel [thumbsup] , being there once but they don't have a carpark on their own [thumbsdown] ...they share carpark with the shopping mall. Hope you not going on weekend cos it will be terrible looking for a lot.

Shopping is great cos got lots of shops ...can shop till [dizzy]

After sungai besi toll, prodeed to KL/seremban Highway to North E37.

Immediately after a pond (left side), join Federal Highway E27 EastWest link - should be able to see signboard. When u r on Seputeh area, watch out seputeh furniture mall (left) Straight then turn right to Jalan Klang lama. U will meet Jalan Syed Putra...exit to mid valley access ramp left....u have to make a loop round Linkaran Syed putra to reach Mid valley or Boulevard hotel. [sunny]

IMO, breakfast in Cititel is better than Boulevard.

Room wise, Boulevard is better than Cititel cos the room is really small.

Security wise, Boulevard is better. For Cititel, anyone can access to the room level from basement carpark. [sweatdrop]

Price diff between 2 is about RM20~30 only.

MidValley shopping is so so only. Nothing to WOW about.

Just stay over the w/e at Gardens hotel, which is next to Boulevard(also stayed before) and also near Cititel(also stayed...kekeke).

U go all the way on NSH till u pas the sungei besi toll. Then u watch out for an exit on left(should be no more than 2km) heading to Petaling Jaya. Note that if u do not exit n head straight u will end up in KL. Mid Valley is another 15 mins or drive from there only. Its called Mid valley bcos it is in the middle between PJ and KL.

Mid Valley Megamall is a huge shopping mall that's quite simlar to 1 Utama and Berjaya Times Square. It has a new extension that's equally big called The Gardens. The Gardens sells pricey and branded goods that's similar to Pavilion KL and Starhill Gallery.

There's a wide variety of products in Mid Valley Megamall. There is a huge pet shop at the topmost level. Prices are similar to 1 Utama and Berjaya Times Square.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

CS Tan

Nowaday, travelling in Malaysia is not cheap. If buying local produce it still cheaper than Singapore.

But if buying imported goods than it is better to get it here, due to cheaper prices and better and newer model.

Mid-Valley is huge. On day can't finish shopping. If go back, I will stay in one the hotel there. Convenient and less taxing.
