those special agents protecting Bush should take the hit instead since they are trained to take bullet shots for the president! or maybe since Bush is outgoing soon so can cut some slack in the security! Obama is ready to take over anytime! [laugh]

Although I don't like Bush, throwing shoes at him is quite disrespectful. In an ironic way, this incident shows that while certain things have gotten worse in Iraq, something have also gotten better. Anyone throwing shoes at Saddam would probably get shot on the spot.
